Previously called Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technology and commonly known as Sheridan College, the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is located in Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1967.

The college has 3 campuses - Trafalgar Road Campus located in Oakville (a town in Southern Ontario), Davis Campus located in Brampton (a city in Southern Ontario) and Hazel McCallion Campus in Mississauga.
The Trafalgar Road campus is the main campus of Sheridan College. This campus houses the Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design which is known as Canada's largest art school.
The Davis Campus offers courses in community services, engineering & technology, and applied for health programs.
The Hazel McCallion Campus is located in the city of Mississauga, which is Canada’s sixth-largest city. This is where the Pilon School of Business is located. As the business school is located here, it offers business diplomas, degrees and graduate certificates. In addition, some courses in architecture, arts and design, humanities and social sciences are offered here.

Sheridan has state-of-the-art libraries at the Davis, Trafalgar, and Hazel McCallion Campuses. Sheridan’s Library have on offer necessary academic supports, innovative technology, and relevant technology.
There is a wide range of scholarships and bursaries offered by Sheridan College exclusively for international students.
Fifteen scholarships valued at $1,000 each are available to Sheridan international students enrolled in full-time (excludes co-op) in certificate, diploma or postgraduate programs (Bachelor Degrees excluded) for the Winter 2020 term.
Another source of financial aid is the International EAP (English for Academic Purposes) Award. This award seeks to recognize international students who have completed the Sheridan's EAP program with a General Arts and Science Ontario College Certificate and are continuing their education in one of Sheridan's full-time post-secondary programs. This award is of $500 for students continuing into the Certificate, Diploma and Postgraduate programs.
Under International Students Medical Expense Bursary, medical expense bursaries of up to a maximum of $500 are provided for Sheridan international students (joint degrees excluded). This bursary is available to international students who have run out of their pocket medical expenses which are not covered by their health insurance plan.

The Davis campus at Brampton and the Trafalgar Road Campus have residence options for students. The former has a capacity to house 350 students while the latter has two blocks of residences housing around 824 students.
The apartments are fully furnished and air-conditioned. They are also secure with 24-hour security. These residences also have common games rooms, movie lounges, kitchens and gyms.

You can get to Davis Campus in Brampton by bus, subway, taxi or Uber from downtown Toronto. The distance is approx. 40 km if you drive. The bus takes approx. one and half hours from Toronto.
Oakville is about 40 km away and 30 minutes’ drive from downtown Toronto and only an hour's drive from Niagara Falls.Mississauga is approximately 30 km from Toronto and the drive should take you half an hour. Additionally, you can take a bus or train which takes about the same time.
