Application Process for Adelphi University

Step One: Prepare Your Documents

Gather the necessary documents to complete your application. You will need:

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): One or more letters from a school or college counselor, teacher, or school-based administrator. You may also include letters from other people, such as a volunteer coordinator.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Along with your application, you must submit the following:

• Official secondary school or university records sent directly to Adelphi University. You need to provide two sets: one in your native language and another translated into English.
• The submission and translation of all documents are your responsibility. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• A personal statement or essay that is 500 words or less, responding to one of the provided questions or a topic of your choice.
• If needed, you may include a report or paper you have written during the current school year.
• SAT scores (if required).
• Proof of English proficiency.
• Suggested additional items: A resume showing your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee for this course is USD 40 (approximately INR 3.37 Thousand).

Payment can be made using a credit card. You may choose a two-payment plan for each semester. The first half of the balance, plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan, is due by:

• August 1 for the fall semester
• January 6 for the spring semester

The final payment is due by:

• October 15 for the fall semester
• March 15 for the spring semester

Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan for paying in monthly installments. A $50 nonrefundable application fee is payable to Tuition Pay.

Step Five: Application Deadlines

The deadlines for applying are:

• Fall semester (August): March 1
• Spring semester (January): November 1
