Applicants must have completed high school with a "B" average, which means above average marks. Strong grades in math and science are preferred. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required from 9th to 11th grade. The prerequisites include 4 years of college-prep English, 3-4 years of math (4 years recommended), 3 years of social sciences, 3 years of laboratory science, and 4 years of a combination of foreign language, computer science, or additional courses in math, laboratory sciences, social sciences, or English.
