Students can join the installment program of the university by making a verbal or written request during the fall or spring semester. If students do not pay their tuition and fees in full, they will be placed in the installment program as long as they have made the down payment. If not, their classes will be dropped.
The installment program usually requires a 50% down payment. The next 25% is due about 30 days after the semester starts, and the final 25% is due about 60 days after the semester begins. There is a non-refundable service charge of $20 for the installment program.
A late fee of $15 will be charged starting the day after an installment due date for each late payment. Reductions in fees for students in the installment program from drops or withdrawals are calculated based on the total fees charged, not on any partial payments.
