The Department of Computer Science at the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science offers a 4-year B.S degree in Computer Science. Students can also avail the opportunity to enroll in the 5-year accelerated program with which they can graduate with both BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering
Students can then go on to complete their doctorates. MS applicants must have completed an undergraduate major in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related field. Normally applicants for the Ph.D. program should have an MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, but exceptional students from the B.S stream are also admitted.
