Eligibility criteria:
Evidence of a bachelor's degree, its equivalent, or a higher degree (prior to enrolment) from a regionally authorized institution; academic distinction; and experience in the subject of graduate study chosen.
Test results for English language proficiency:
Georgia Tech only accepts the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic.
Georgia Tech requires the following minimum scores for graduate admission:
IELTS: Minimum Overall Band Scores: 7.0 Component Band Score: 6.5 points for reading; Listening: 6.5; 6.5: Public Speaking; 5.5 for Composition
TOEFL: Minimum section scores of 19 and a score of 577 (paper-based) or 90 (Internet-based). Higher scores are required for several academic programmes. Documents Required for Admission:

Transcripts from universities and colleges attended. Transcripts printed from your student account, as well as degree audits or transcripts that have been self-translated, are not accepted.

Any transcripts submitted for review that aren't in English will be translated into English. If the institution refuses to submit a translated copy, NACES will accept translations done by a public translator (through an embassy, Education USA or a NACES member). If the conferred degree isn't stated on the transcript, native language degree documents are required (s).

Admission Dates & Process
Application deadlines differ depending on the school and program. For fall entry, some programmes have deadlines as early as November. Assistantships and fellowships are frequently offered in the early spring for fall programmes. Contact your programme of interest to find out when applications for admission, financial aid, or awards are due.
International Application Process:

Fill out the online application and pay the $85.00 application fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Submission of application materials like Proof of English language proficiency, letters of recommendation, transcripts, test results, and other documentation.

After you've submitted your application, log in to your Application Status Portal to monitor the status of your application and required materials.

Review of application by the graduate admission committee once all needed application materials have been received.

When an admission decision is made, you will receive an email informing that your Application Status Portal has been updated.

Additional documents must be submitted as part of the application verification procedure.

You will receive an Application Verification after all of the relevant documents have been received and confirmed. As a newly admitted graduate student at Georgia Tech, you will get an email with information on the next steps and how to continue the enrollment process.

Is it possible for me to submit multiple applications?
You can have up to two open applications per semester at Georgia Tech. Each programme has its own set of applications. If you want to apply to more than one, please use the online application system.
