9. Post-study work visa

Australia offers a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) that allows some international students to stay in Australia and continue to work after they have graduated. This visa provides an opportunity for international students to stay back in the country for a period of 18 - 24 months and work full-time. Also, as per the latest changes by the Australian government, a 2-year extension on this work visa will be provided for some selected courses. The increase in post-study work permits could allow students to get their tenure extended in the following manner:
