Generation Google Scholarship

The Generation Google Scholarship was created to assist aspiring computer science students in excelling in technology and becoming leaders in the sector. This scholarship will be given based on each candidate's demonstrated leadership, academic performance, and dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

Generation Google Scholarship: Benefits 

The Generation Google Scholarship is exclusively offered to students studying Computer Science and related subjects. The applicant must have a good academic record, financial necessity, and a commitment and passion for the subject area. Applicants with an Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree are all eligible to apply. The award is worth INR 8,33,000 for Canadian students and INR 3,15,000 for US students during the 2023-24 school year.

Generation Google Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria 

The following are the eligibility requirements for the Generation Google Scholarship Canada & USA:

At the time of application, you must be at least 18 years old.

Those under the age of 18 must have parental approval attached to their application.

A full-time student at any US or Canadian university is required.

Beginning a UG, PG, or PhD programme

Enrolled in Computer Science or similar topics such as Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, and so on.

Have a solid and exceptional academic record

Show that you have a financial necessity to study in Canada/the United States.

Extracurricular activities, leadership, and innovative abilities are required.

Note 1: While enrollment is not required at the time of application, it is recommended to seek enrollment prior to applying to reduce last-minute stress.

Note 2: Those from historically marginalized communities will be given preference over others.

Generation Google Scholarship: Application Process

To apply for the Google scholarship for Indian students, the applicant must fill out a Google scholarship online application. The following information must be included on the Generation Google Scholarship Canada and USA application form:

General background information (for example, contact information and specifics about your present and prospective universities)

Information about the family and the household

Resume/CV

One recommendation letter

Academic transcripts from your current institution (and any previous institutions, if relevant)

Answers to questions about short response essays

Future vision, and related ideas 

Desire to study the chosen subject

Generation Google Scholarship: Selection Process

The online application, previous academic records, CV, and three essays requested in the application are all taken into account when selecting candidates.

When determining the successful winners of the award, the financial need, devotion to the topic area, and vision to contribute to the subject area are all taken into account.
