Great Wall Program

Applicants must prove their exceptional merit for the Great Wall Program to get their application selected, and here are some ways of doing that:

• Write an excellent research proposal that documents your in-depth knowledge of the proposed program of study and future goals.
• Craft an SOP that outlines your candidacy for the program, including your experience, unique achievements, academic merit, etc., relevant to the program.
• Get Letters of Recommendation from experts in your field of study.

It is not possible to edit the application form for the Great Wall Program after submission. Applicants must be vigilant while filling out the form on the China Scholarship Council (CSC) portal.

Applicants for the Great Wall Program must get acceptance to a host institution in China to get selected for funding. Once an applicant has been selected, it is not possible to change the institution of study in China.

The Great Wall Program offers funding for full-time courses in China and not for part-time or distance learning degrees.

There is no mandatory requirement for the applicant to be proficient in Chinese to apply for the Great Wall Program.

Applicants for the Great Wall Program must possess a certification for English language skills, which can be international entrance tests such as the IELTS, TOEFL, etc., or UNESCO’s Certificate of Language Knowledge.
