Application Process for Adelphi University

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Gather the following documents:

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need one or more letters from a school or college counselor, teacher, or school administrator. Letters from other people, like a volunteer coordinator, can also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Submit the following:

• Official secondary school or university records sent directly to Adelphi University. You need to provide:
• One set in your native language.
• One set translated into English.
• All document submissions and translations are your responsibility.
• Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• A personal statement or essay of 500 words or less, answering one of the provided questions or a topic of your choice.
• You may submit a report or paper you wrote during the current school year if needed.
• SAT scores (if required).
• Proof of English proficiency.
• Suggested supplemental items include a resume showing your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is:

• USD 40 (approximately INR 3.37 Thousand).

Payment can be made using a credit card. You can choose a two-payment plan for each semester. Here are the details:

• Half of the balance, plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan, is due by August 1 for the fall semester or January 6 for the spring semester.
• The final payment is due on October 15 or March 15.

Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, allowing payments in monthly installments. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee payable to Tuition Pay.
