Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to provide one or more letters of recommendation. These can come from a school or college counselor, a teacher, or a school-based administrator. You can also include letters from other people, like a volunteer coordinator.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Submit Official Records: You must send your official secondary school or university records directly to Adelphi University. One set should be in your native language, and another set should be translated into English. You are responsible for submitting and translating all required documents and fees.
• Photocopies: Photocopies are not acceptable unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Personal Statement or Essay: Write a personal statement or essay of 500 words or less. You can respond to one of the provided questions or choose a topic of your choice. Alternatively, you may submit a report or paper you wrote during the current school year.
• SAT Scores: If required, include your SAT scores.
• Proof of English Proficiency: Provide proof of your English language skills.
• Suggested Supplemental Items: Include a resume that shows your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.
