Adelphi University Application Process

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to gather one or more letters of recommendation. These can come from a school or college counselor, a teacher, or a school administrator. Letters from other people, like a volunteer coordinator, can also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Submit your official secondary school or university records directly to Adelphi University. You need to provide two sets of records: one in your native language and one translated into English.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that all required documents and fees are submitted and translated. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Personal Statement or Essay: You are encouraged to write a personal statement or essay of 500 words or less. You can respond to one of the provided questions or choose a topic of your choice. If you prefer, you may submit a report or paper you wrote during the current school year.
• Submit your SAT scores if required.
• Provide proof of English proficiency.
• Suggested Supplemental Items: You may also include a resume that shows your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.

Step Four: Application Fees for This Course

The application fee is USD 50 (approximately INR 4.21 Thousand). You can pay this fee using a credit card.

You can choose a two-payment plan for each semester. The first half of the balance, plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan, is due by August 1 for the fall semester or January 6 for the spring semester. The final payment is due on October 15 or March 15.

Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, allowing you to pay in monthly installments. There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee that should be paid to Tuition Pay.
