Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to provide one or more letters of recommendation. These can come from a school or college counselor, teacher, or school administrator. Letters from other people, like a volunteer coordinator, can also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Official Secondary School/University Records: You must submit your records directly to Adelphi University. One set should be in your native language, and the other set should be translated into English. It is your responsibility to submit and translate all required documents and pay any fees. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Personal Statement or Essay: You should write a personal statement or essay of 500 words or less. You can respond to one of the provided questions or choose a topic of your own. Alternatively, you can submit a report or paper you wrote during the current school year.
• SAT Scores: Submit your SAT scores if they are required.
• Proof of English Proficiency: Provide proof that you can speak and write in English.
• Suggested Supplemental Items: You may include a resume that shows your employment, volunteer work, or other activities outside of school.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is $50, which is around INR 4.21 Thousand. You can pay with a credit card.

You may choose a two-payment plan for each semester. Half of the balance, plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan, is due by August 1 for the fall semester or January 6 for the spring semester. The final payment is due on October 15 or March 15.

Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, allowing you to pay in monthly installments. There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee payable to Tuition Pay.
