Adelphi University Application Process

Step One: Prepare Application Documents

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need one or more letters of recommendation from a school counselor, teacher, or school administrator. Letters from other sources, like a volunteer coordinator, may also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Official Records: Submit official secondary school or university records directly to Adelphi University. You must provide one set in your native language and one translated into English. It is your responsibility to submit and translate all required documents and fees. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Personal Statement: Write a personal statement or essay of 500 words or less. You can respond to one of the provided questions or choose your own topic. You may also include a report or paper you wrote during the current school year if needed.
• SAT Scores: Submit SAT scores if they are required for your application.
• Proof of English Proficiency: Provide proof that you meet the English language requirements.
• Supplemental Items: It is suggested to include a resume that shows your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.
