Adelphi University Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Documents for Application

Gather the following documents:

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need one or more letters from a school or college counselor, teacher, or school administrator. Letters from other people, like a volunteer coordinator, can also be accepted.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

• Submit official records from your secondary school or university directly to Adelphi University. You need to provide:
• One set of records in your native language.
• One set translated into English.
• It is your responsibility to submit and translate all required documents and fees. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Personal Statement or Essay: Write a personal statement or essay that is 500 words or less. You can respond to one of the provided questions or choose your own topic.
• You may also include a report or paper you wrote during the current school year if needed.
• Submit SAT scores if they are required.
• Provide proof of English proficiency.
• Suggested Supplemental Items: A resume that shows your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.

Step 4: Application Fees for This Course

• The application fee is USD 40, which is approximately INR 3.37 thousand.
• Payment Method: You can pay by credit card.
• You can choose a two-payment plan for each semester. Half of the balance, plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan, is due by August 1 for the fall semester or January 6 for the spring semester. The final payment is due on October 15 or March 15.
• Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, allowing you to pay in monthly installments. There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee for this plan.
