Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR) One or more letters from a school or college counselor, teacher, or school administrator. Letters from other sources, like a volunteer coordinator, may also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Submit official secondary school or university records directly to Adelphi University. One set of records should be in the applicant's native language and another set should be translated into English. The applicant is responsible for submitting and translating all required documents and fees. Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• A personal statement or essay, in 500 words or less, answering one of the provided questions or a topic of the applicant's choice.
• Applicants may also submit a report or paper they have written during the current school year if needed.
• SAT scores (if required).
• Proof of English proficiency.
• Suggested supplemental items: Resume showing employment, volunteer, or other extracurricular activities.

Step Four: Application Fees

• Application Fee: USD 40 (approximately INR 3.37 Thousand).
• Mode of payment: Credit card.
• Students can choose a two-payment plan for each semester. Half of the balance plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan is due by August 1 for the fall semester or January 6 for the spring semester. The final payment is due on October 15 or March 15.
• Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, which allows payment in monthly installments as an alternative. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee payable to Tuition Pay.

Step Five: Application Deadlines
