Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): One or more letters from a school or college counselor, teacher, or administrator. Letters from other sources, like a volunteer coordinator, may also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Submit official records from your secondary school or university directly to Adelphi University. One set of records should be in your native language and another set translated into English. It is your responsibility to submit and translate all required documents and pay any fees. Photocopies are not acceptable unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Write a personal statement or essay: It should be 500 words or less, answering one of the provided questions or a topic of your choice. You may also submit a report or paper you wrote during the current school year if needed.
• SAT scores (if required).
• Proof of English proficiency.
• Suggested supplemental items: A resume showing your employment, volunteer work, or other activities.

Step Four: Application Fees for This Course

• Payment Method: Credit card.
• You can choose a two-payment plan for each semester: Half of the balance plus a $60 fee is due by August 1 for the fall semester or January 6 for the spring semester. The final payment is due on October 15 or March 15.
• Adelphi offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, allowing you to pay in monthly installments. A $50 nonrefundable application fee is payable to Tuition Pay.
