Students must have completed high school from a recognized school or university. They need a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, based on their coursework in grades 10, 11, and 12. Required subjects include: U.S. History and Social Science, English, Mathematics, Laboratory Science, a Language Other than English, Visual and Performing Arts, and College Prep Electives.

Application Process for California State University Channel Islands

Step One: Additional Documents Required

• Official transcripts
• Proof of English Language Proficiency
• A copy of the passport (picture page)
• Financial Affidavit Form
• Proof of Financial Statement
• Provide a bank statement or an original letter on the financial institution’s letterhead showing available funds of $35,000 USD

Mode of Payment: Credit Card

Students can pay their tuition fees in three or five installments. Registration periods for installment payment are:

• From July 15, 2023, to September 8, 2023
• From April 19, 2023, to July 14, 2023

The CSU Channel Islands Tuition Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) allows students in good financial standing to pay tuition in installments without interest. A non-refundable administrative fee of $33.00 is required per semester.

Step Four: Application Deadline

The application deadline for Spring (January) is October 1st.
