To apply, students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale over the last three years. Required subjects include: 2 years of social science (including 1 year of U.S. history), 4 years of English, 3 years of math (algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra; 4 years are recommended), 2 years of laboratory science (1 biological and 1 physical), 2 years of the same foreign language (can be waived for those with equivalent skills), 1 year of visual and performing arts (like art, dance, drama, or music), and 1 year of electives from various subjects.
