    To apply, students must have graduated from high school. They should meet one of the following: 1) Graduate from a high school where English was not the only language of instruction, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, a GPA of at least 2.4 in any college courses, and a passing score on an English proficiency test; or 2) Graduate from a high school where English was not the only language of instruction with a GPA of at least 3.0 and a passing score on an English proficiency test; or 3) Complete two years of acceptable college work (56 semester units) with a minimum GPA of 2.4, have passed an English composition course, and a qualifying English proficiency test score. Required subjects include: 2 years of social science (including 1 year of U.S. history), 4 years of English, 3 years of math (algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra), 2 years of laboratory science (1 biological and 1 physical), 2 years of the same foreign language, 1 year of visual/performing arts, and 1 year of electives.
