Students must complete a total of 15 units of college preparatory courses with grades of C- or better. This includes: 2 years of social science (including 1 year of U.S. history), 4 years of English, 3 years of math (algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra), 2 years of laboratory science (1 biological and 1 physical), 2 years of the same foreign language (waivers may apply), 1 year of visual and performing arts (like art, dance, or music), and 1 year of electives from approved courses.
