Applicants need to have an undergraduate degree that includes many of the courses required for the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Cal State San Marcos or similar programs. They should have a 3.0 GPA in upper-division Computer Science courses and at least a 2.5 GPA in the last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units attempted. If applicants do not have a degree in Computer Science, they must complete courses such as Data Structures, Computer Architecture, Programming Languages, Theory of Computing, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, and Discrete Mathematics. If they are missing 3 courses or less, they may be admitted as Conditionally Classified.

• Official English translations of all academic records, including certificates, degrees, or diplomas.
