To apply, students must have graduated from a school equivalent to a US high school. They need a minimum of 16 units of high school work, with at least 11 units in basic liberal arts. The units should include: English (3 units recommended, 4 preferred), Mathematics (2 units of college-prep math, including Algebra and Geometry), Natural Science (2 units, preferably Biology, Physics, or Chemistry), Social Studies (2 units, including world history and American history), and Liberal Arts (2 units of a foreign language or additional units in the subjects listed). If the high school GPA is below 2.0, an essay is required. If the undergraduate GPA is below 2.0, an essay is also needed. If there are fewer than 60 transferable college credits, students must submit a high school transcript or proof of GED.
