Graduation

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75. Those with a GPA below 2.75 may still be considered. Students with a GPA between 2.74 and 2.25 may be conditionally admitted by the MBA Program Director and must meet special academic conditions. The MBA program has four prerequisite areas: Accounting, Finance, Management, and Statistics. These prerequisites do not need to be completed before starting the program but must be finished before taking the related MBA courses. Students may have already covered these areas in their undergraduate studies. They can fulfill prerequisites by taking traditional or non-traditional courses, CLEP or DSST exams, or based on professional experience. All prerequisites can also be completed by taking a single course, BUS 5005 Business Foundations for Administrative Professionals (3 credits). International students must complete MBA 505 Graduate School Success (3 credits) as part of their degree, which adds three credits to the total required for degree completion unless approved otherwise by the MBA Program Director.
