BS in Environmental Science at Florida A&M University

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher or counselor. This is part of your application.
• Essays: Write a 500-word essay as part of your application. For the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BS in HIIM), include a typed autobiographical essay of 300-500 words that answers the following questions: Why do you want to enter the HIIM profession? What life or work experiences lead you to pursue a degree in HIIM? What are your career goals, and how will a bachelor’s degree in HIIM help you achieve those goals?
• CV: Submit a professional resume if applying for the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch).

• Provide an official or certified copy of all your secondary and post-secondary records and exam results. If you studied at a non-U.S. institution, you must have your credentials evaluated by a foreign credential evaluation agency.
• If you have earned college credit through AICE, AP, IB, or CLEP, submit those results.
• If English is not your native language, submit official TOEFL or IELTS test scores to show your English proficiency.
• Include an official GED transcript if applicable.
• Submit official ACT (code: 0726) or Redesigned SAT (code: 5215) results if you are entering as a freshman or sophomore transfer student.
• Provide a copy of your passport.
• Complete the International Student Financial Statement.
• For B.Arch: Include a professional statement and ensure you have a satisfactory portfolio review score.
