Application Process for Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to submit two letters of recommendation from a teacher and/or counselor. These are part of your application.
• Essays: Write a 500-word essay as part of your application. For BS in HIIM: You must write a typed autobiographical essay of at least 300-500 words. In this essay, explain: Your reason for wanting to enter the HIIM profession. Your life and/or work experiences that lead you to pursue a degree in HIIM. Your career goals and how a bachelor’s degree in HIIM will help you achieve those goals.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV): Submit a professional resume if applying for BArch.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Undergraduate Application: Submit the official or certified copy of all your secondary and post-secondary records and/or examination results. If your documents are from a non-U.S. institution, they must be evaluated by a foreign credential evaluation agency.
• Submit all AICE, AP, IB, or CLEP results if you have earned college credit through these programs.
• If English is not your native language, submit official TOEFL and/or IELTS test scores.
• Submit your official GED transcript if applicable.
• If you are entering as a freshman or sophomore transfer student, submit your official ACT [code: 0726] and/or Redesigned SAT [code: 5215] results.
• Include a copy of your passport.
• Complete the International Student Financial Statement.
• For B.Arch: Submit a professional statement and a satisfactory portfolio review score.

Step Four: Application Fees for This Course

The application fee is USD 35 (approximately INR 2.95 Thousand). You can pay using a credit card.
