To apply, students must have completed high school and earned their secondary and post-secondary certificates. The required GPA is 2.85 for spring admissions and 3.0 for fall admissions, based on a recalculated core academic GPA on a 4.00 scale. Students must complete the following high school course units: - Four units of English (three should involve significant writing) - Four units of Mathematics (starting from Algebra 1) - Three units of Natural Science (at least two must include laboratory work) - Three units of Social Science - Two units of the same Foreign Language - Two elective units from English, Mathematics, Natural Science, Foreign Language, Humanities, or Social Science.

Application Process for Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to submit two letters of recommendation from a teacher and/or counselor as part of your application.
• Essays: Write a 500-word essay that is part of your application. For the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BS in HIIM), you must include a typed autobiographical essay of at least 300-500 words. Answer these questions: Why do you want to enter the HIIM profession? What life or work experiences lead you to pursue a degree in HIIM? What are your career goals, and how will a bachelor's degree in HIIM help you achieve them?
• CV: Submit a professional resume if you are applying for the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch).

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Complete the undergraduate application form.
• Submit an official or certified copy of all your secondary and post-secondary records and exam results. If you studied at a non-U.S. institution, have your credentials evaluated by a foreign credential evaluation agency.
• Include all AICE, AP, IB, or CLEP results if you earned college credit through these programs.
• If English is not your native language, submit official TOEFL and/or IELTS test scores.
• Provide an official GED transcript if applicable.
• Submit official ACT (code: 0726) and/or Redesigned SAT (code: 5215) results if you are entering as a freshman or sophomore transfer student.
• Include a copy of your passport.
• Complete the International Student Financial Statement.
• For B.Arch, include a professional statement and a satisfactory portfolio review score.

The application fee is USD 35, which is approximately INR 2.95 thousand. You can pay by credit card. There is a formal payment plan available through iRattler, where students can pay in equal installments, either automatically or manually, using the Cashnet payment system. Students can also invite family and friends to help make payments. This payment plan requires a $15.00 enrollment fee, and the first payment is due when you enroll in the plan.
