Application Process for Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Step One: Prepare Your Documents

• Statement of Purpose (SOP): Write a statement explaining why you want to pursue a Master of Science degree and your career goals. This is required for MS Civil and MSME programs.
• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need three letters of recommendation. Make sure to fill out this part of the online application. If you are applying for MS Physics, at least two letters must come from your undergraduate physics teachers.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV): Prepare a résumé that shows your educational and work background. This is needed for Master of Architecture (MArch), MSME, MSW, and MS Educational Leadership applicants.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Proof of English Language Proficiency: You need to show that you can speak and write in English well.
• Academic Transcripts: Submit your school records.
• Certificate of Financial Statement: Provide proof that you can pay for your education.
• Proof of Health Insurance: Show that you have health insurance coverage.
• Copy of Passport: Include a copy of your passport.
• Immunization Form: Submit your immunization records.
• GRE/GMAT Scores: If required, submit your GRE or GMAT scores.
• Statement of Professional Goals: This is required for MSIE applicants.
• For MSW Applicants: Write a personal narrative statement that discusses your academic and work history and your interest in social work.
• Certification of Eligibility Form: Complete this form as part of your application.
• For MS Educational Leadership: Write a three-page statement about your beliefs on leadership, the values that shape those beliefs, your leadership experiences, and your leadership goals. Upload this statement to the Graduate School’s CollegeNET system.
• For M.Arch Applicants: If you have studied architecture before, you need to submit a portfolio of your work. Please note that your work samples will not be returned. Include a Letter of Intent as well.

The application fee is USD 30, which is about INR 2.53 Thousand. You can pay using a credit card.

There is also a formal payment plan available through iRattler. You can pay in equal installments using auto payment or make manual payments through the Cashnet payment system. You can also invite family and friends to help with payments. This plan has a $15.00 enrollment fee, and the first payment is due when you sign up for the plan.
