Application Process for Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• SOP: Write a Statement of Purpose explaining your reasons for pursuing a Master of Science degree and your career goals (This is for MS Civil and MSME).
• LOR: Provide three Letters of Recommendation. Complete this section of the online application. You need at least two letters from your undergraduate physics instructors (only for MS Physics).
• CV: Include a résumé that shows your educational and career background (for MArch, MSME, MSW & MS Educational Leadership).

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• For MS Educational Leadership: Submit a three-page statement about your beliefs on leadership, the values that shape these beliefs, your leadership experiences, and your leadership goals. Upload this statement into the Graduate School’s CollegeNET system.
• For M.Arch Applications: A portfolio is required if you have studied architecture before. Note that your samples of work will not be returned.
