Application Process for Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• SOP: Write a Statement of Purpose explaining why you want to pursue a Master of Science degree and your career goals. This is required for MS in Civil Engineering and MSME.
• LOR: Obtain three Letters of Recommendation. Make sure to complete this section of the online application. For MS in Physics, at least two letters must come from your undergraduate physics instructors.
• CV: Prepare a résumé that shows your education and career background. This is required for MArch, MSME, MSW, and MS in Educational Leadership.

• Submit GRE/GMAT scores if required
• For MSIE: A statement of professional goals is needed.
• For MSW: A personal narrative statement is needed. This should reflect your academic and work history, as well as your interest in social work.
• For MS in Educational Leadership: Submit a three-page statement about your beliefs on leadership, values, related experiences, and leadership goals. Upload this Leadership Statement into the Graduate School’s CollegeNET system.
• For M.Arch Applications: You must submit a portfolio if you have previously studied architecture. Note that the samples will not be returned.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is USD 30, which is approximately INR 2.53 Thousand. You can pay using a credit card.

A formal payment plan is available through iRattler. You can make payments in equal installments, either automatically or manually through the Cashnet payment system. You can also invite family and friends to help pay for your application. There is a $15.00 enrollment fee for this plan, and the first payment is due when you enroll.
