Application Process for Florida Institute of Technology

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Statement of Purpose (SOP): Submit a statement of purpose explaining your reasons for pursuing graduate study in chemical engineering (for M.S. Chemical Engineering).

Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to submit two letters of recommendation. These should discuss your past academic and professional performance and your potential for success in graduate study.

For M.S. Chemical Engineering, you are required to submit three letters of recommendation from academic references.

CV/Resume: A CV or resume is required. It should include all your past professional and educational experiences, as well as any publications and memberships in professional organizations.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

An official certified transcript must be sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions from the registrar of each college or university you have attended.

All application materials, including transcripts, must have English translations.

Statement of Objectives: This statement should be about 300 words long. It should discuss your intended graduate study, career goals, and past and planned activities in your field of study. (This is not required for M.S. Chemical Engineering.)

GRE Scores (if applicable): Submit your GRE scores if they are required.

Proof of English Language Proficiency: You need to provide proof that you can speak and write in English well.
