Applicants must have a high school degree from an accredited institution. The required high school course load includes: 4 credits of English, 4 credits of mathematics (at or above Algebra I or higher), 3 credits of natural science (two must have lab requirements), 3 credits of social science (such as history, civics, or psychology), 2 credits of a second language, and 2 credits in additional academic electives. Taking more courses than these minimum requirements can improve your chances of being accepted.

The application fee is USD 30, which is approximately INR 2.53 thousand.

Florida International University offers the following payment plans for tuition:

• Pay in 2 installments of 50% of qualified tuition and fees
• Pay in 3 installments of 33.3% of qualified tuition and fees
• Pay in 4 installments of 25% of qualified tuition and fees

A $15 service fee will be added to the first installment. This first installment should also include the $93.69 health fee and the service fee for the installment.

If payments are late, a fee of $100 will be charged for each missed deadline.
