12th Grade
To apply, students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Required subjects include: - English: Literature (American, English, World), Grammar, and Advanced Composition Skills. - Mathematics: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and a fourth advanced math course. - Science: Four science units, with at least two courses that include a lab. Students should have one unit each of biology, physical science or physics, and chemistry, plus a fourth science course. - Social Science: One unit in U.S. Studies and one unit in World Studies. - Foreign Language or Computer Science: Two units of the same foreign language focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, or two units of computer science with coding emphasis. If the GPA is below 3.2, students must achieve minimum SAT or ACT scores. For SAT taken after March 2016, the minimum scores are 480 in Evidence Based Reading and Writing, and 440 in Math. For ACT, the minimum scores are 17 in English or Reading and 17 in Math. Starting in Fall 2026, first-year applicants must have SAT scores of 500 in Evidence Based Reading and Writing and 490 in Math, or ACT scores of 18 in English or Reading and 18 in Math.
