    Eligibility Criteria

    12th Grade

    To apply, students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Required subjects include: - English: Must include American, English, or World Literature, along with Grammar and Composition skills. - Mathematics: Must complete Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and a fourth advanced math course. - Science: Students need four science units, including two lab courses. This includes one unit of biology, one physical science or physics unit, one chemistry unit, and a fourth science. - Social Science: Must include one unit on U.S. Studies and one unit on World Studies. - Foreign Language: Students must complete two units of the same foreign language, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Alternatively, two units of computer science with a coding emphasis can be accepted. If the GPA is below 3.2, students must meet minimum SAT or ACT scores. For SAT taken in March 2016 or later, the minimum scores are 480 for Evidence Based Reading and Writing and 440 for Math. For ACT, the minimum scores are 17 for English or Reading and 17 for Math.
