12th Grade

To meet the requirements for 12th grade at Kennesaw State University, applicants must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Required subjects include: - **English**: American, English, or World Literature with Grammar, Usage, and Advanced Composition Skills. - **Mathematics**: Courses should include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and a fourth unit of advanced math. - **Science**: Four science units are required, including two laboratory courses. Students must take at least one unit of biology, one unit of physical science or physics, one unit of chemistry, and an additional science course. - **Social Science**: Must include one unit on U.S. Studies and one on World Studies. - **Foreign Language**: Two units of the same foreign language focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, or two units of computer science with a coding emphasis. If the GPA is below 3.2, minimum SAT or ACT scores are needed. For SAT, a minimum score of 480 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 440 in Math is required. For ACT, a minimum score of 17 in English or Reading and 17 in Math is needed.
