To apply, students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Required subjects include: 1) English: Literature (American, English, World) with Grammar and Advanced Composition Skills. 2) Mathematics: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and a fourth advanced math unit. 3) Science: Four science units, including biology, physical science or physics, chemistry, and a fourth unit with a lab component. 4) Social Science: One unit in U.S. Studies and one in World Studies. 5) Foreign Language: Two units in the same language with a focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, or two units in Computer Science with a coding emphasis. If the GPA is below 3.2, minimum SAT or ACT scores are required: SAT (after March 2016) - 480 in Evidence Based Reading and Writing and 440 in Math, or ACT - 17 in English/Reading and Math. Starting Fall 2026, SAT scores of 500 in Evidence Based Reading and Writing and 490 in Math, or ACT scores of 18 in English/Reading and Math are required.
