Application Process for MIT MSRED Program

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

When applying, ensure you have the following documents ready:

• Letters of Recommendation: Submit 3 letters (2 professional and 1 academic). Please ensure these are for the MIT MSRED program only and submit them via the online application process.
• Resume: Include a PDF copy of your resume with your application.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

• Official Transcripts: Request the Registrar of all previous universities you attended to send your transcripts directly to MIT.
• Test Scores: Provide your TOEFL/IELTS and GMAT/GRE scores.
• Statement of Objectives: Write a statement outlining your past work experience, why you are applying to the MIT MSRED program, and your career goals. Keep it 1 to 2 pages long, single or double spaced.
• Portfolio (Optional): You can submit a portfolio or work sample via email to msredadmissions@mit.edu by January 15. Ensure the file size is under 10 MB.
