Students will be favored for taking more challenging courses, such as mathematics beyond Algebra II, more laboratory science beyond chemistry, a third or fourth year of a foreign language, Advanced Placement courses, or honors courses. The best candidates usually have a GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale and a strong record of extracurricular activities.
