M.P.H Public Health at Northeastern Illinois University

Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) offers a Master of Public Health (M.P.H) program through its Chemistry Department. This program lasts for two years and provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in the public health field. The total tuition fee for the M.P.H Public Health course is USD 19,468. The School Health concentration prepares students for leadership positions in school health. They also build a solid foundation of knowledge in important health topics.

Essays:
You must write an essay of about 1500-2500 words. In this essay, discuss the following points:
1) What does public health mean to you?
2) What areas of public health interest you the most?
3) How will a degree in public health help you achieve your career goals?
Note: The Master of Public Health (MPH) has two areas of focus: Public Health Promotion and School Health. Please make sure your essay reflects the area you are interested in.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

You need to submit the following documents:

• Official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended.
• A two-page statement outlining your goals and objectives for the program you are applying to.
• Proof of English language proficiency.
• Bank letter(s) from each sponsor’s financial institution.
• A copy of your passport.
• A financial statement.
