Applicants must have a Higher Secondary Certificate, Indian School Certificate, All India Senior School Certificate, or Delhi Senior School Certificate. They should have above-average grades, generally 60% or better. All applicants must complete the following high school coursework: 4 units of English, 4 units of mathematics (including Algebra II or above), 3 units of science, 3 units of social studies, 2 units of foreign language, 1 unit of visual or performing arts, and 4 additional elective units. Four years of college preparatory math and one year of either chemistry or physics are required. Additionally, one year of another science (physics, chemistry, or biology) is strongly recommended for admission to the Russ College.
