There is no specific cutoff mentioned, but applicants must have completed Secondary School. The required subjects are: 4 units in English, 2 units in laboratory science, 3 units in college preparatory mathematics (including Algebra I & II and geometry), 2 units in social studies, and 5 units of additional work in at least two of the following areas: English, history, languages (with a minimum of two units in one language), mathematics, social science, and science. For the College of Engineering, applicants should have 3 units of laboratory science including chemistry and physics, and 4 units of college preparatory mathematics including pre-calculus (calculus is preferred).
