    Graduation

    Applicants need to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. The degree is usually in chemistry or biochemistry, but other science majors are also accepted. Applicants must have at least 18 semester credits of upper-division undergraduate chemistry courses, which include two semesters of organic chemistry, one semester of quantitative analysis, and two semesters of physical chemistry. If students do not meet these requirements, they can complete these courses during their graduate program, but these will not count for graduate credit.
