B.S. in Civil Engineering at San Diego State University

San Diego State University (SDSU) offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering through its Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. The following subjects are required: one year of U.S. history and government for Social Science, English courses with significant reading and writing, Math including algebra I, algebra II, and geometry, one year of biological science and one year of physical science with lab work for Laboratory Science, a foreign language (the same language), and a year-long course in visual and performing arts.

Step One: Additional Documents Required

• Unofficial Transcripts: You need to provide unofficial transcripts from both high school and college (if applicable). These transcripts will help you enter the courses you have completed to meet A-G requirements. Include courses you are currently taking and those you plan to take in the future.
• Educational Program, Work, and Extracurricular Participation Information: You must list the years you took part in college preparation programs. Also, mention the average number of hours you work or participate in extracurricular activities each week.
• Proof of English Proficiency: You need to show proof that you are proficient in English.

Step Three: Application Fees

• Application Fee: The fee is USD 70 or about INR 5.9 thousand.
• Payment Methods: You can pay using a credit card or PayPal.
• Tuition Payment Plan: There is a separate payment plan for Non-Resident Tuition, which is for students from outside the state or country. An initial payment of your Basic Tuition for the term is required when you enroll in the plan. The remaining amount will be divided into three payments each semester, plus service charges that can total up to 10%.
• The Tuition Payment Plans are for one semester. You must enroll in the plan for each semester.
