    Eligibility Criteria

    12th Grade

    Students need to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 if they are from outside California or graduated from a non-California high school. To meet the admission requirements, students must complete 15 units of college preparatory courses (called A-G requirements) with grades of C- or higher. These courses must be finished by the spring term before starting at SDSU. The required subjects are: - Social Science: One year of U.S. history and government. - English: Courses must involve reading classic and modern literature and writing structured papers. - Mathematics: Courses must include algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and other advanced courses that require these as prerequisites. Computer programming does not count for this requirement. - Laboratory Science: One year of biological science and one year of physical science, both with a lab component. - Foreign Language: Must be one language (waivers available for those with equivalent skills). - Visual and Performing Arts: One year-long course in visual art, dance, drama, or music, or two semester-long courses in the same area.
