    12th Grade

    To apply, students need a CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Non-California residents and graduates from non-California high schools must also meet this minimum requirement. Students must complete a 15-unit set of college preparatory courses (called A-G requirements) with grades of C- or higher. All subject requirements must be finished by the end of the spring term before starting at SDSU. The specific subject prerequisites are: Social Science: One year of U.S. history and government; English: Must include significant reading of literature and writing structured papers; Mathematics: Must include algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and other advanced courses that require algebra and geometry; Laboratory Science: One year of biological science and one year of physical science with a lab component; Foreign Language: Must be in the same language; Visual and Performing Arts: One year-long course in visual arts, dance, drama/theatre, or music, or two semester-long courses in the same area.
