Application Process for San Diego State University

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Statement of Purpose (SOP): You need to write a Statement of Purpose that explains your goals and reasons for applying.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You must provide letters from at least two people who can speak about your academic skills or work experience. One letter should come from a former professor who has taught or supervised you.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

• Submit transcripts or grade reports from all colleges you have attended.
• Provide a copy of your diploma or degree certificate for each degree you have completed.
• If you are still studying, submit a certified copy of your diploma or degree certificate after you finish your degree.
• Include a certified English translation for each document not in English.
• Show proof of your English language skills.
• Complete the Financial Statement Form.
