Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at San Francisco State University

San Francisco State University (SFSU) offers a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry through its College of Science and Engineering. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a B- average in academic courses after 9th grade. For chemistry and biochemistry programs, high school preparation should include two years of algebra, one year of geometry, half a year of trigonometry, one year of chemistry, and one year of physics. Calculus is recommended.
