Step One: Prepare Your Documents

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Applicants must upload a 750-word statement of purpose in the application portal. This statement should explain why you are applying to the JST program. Please answer these questions:

• How does your past academic work or ministry experience prepare you for this program?
• What are your plans after earning your degree, and how will a degree from JST help you achieve these goals?

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

All applicants need to submit two letters of recommendation. If you are a vowed religious, you must also submit a third letter from your religious superior to show support from your congregation.

You will provide the names and contact details of your recommenders. They will receive an email with instructions and a link to upload their letters of recommendation.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Applicants must upload a résumé or CV that includes information about your relevant work experience and education in the application portal.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

You need to upload unofficial copies of transcripts for all post-secondary studies into the application portal. The transcripts must:

• List all the courses you took.
• Show the grades you received for each course.
• Indicate if you have been awarded an academic degree.

All transcripts must be in English or come with an English translation from the school or a certified evaluation service.
