Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR) Submit two recommendation letters from teachers. You may also submit an optional recommendation letter from someone who knows you well. A counselor recommendation is also required.
• Essays Write a short essay on each of the following topics: Reflect on an idea or experience that excites you about learning. Write a note to your future roommate to help them—and us—get to know you better. Tell us about something meaningful to you and why. Each essay should be between 100 and 250 words.
