Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

The statement should be clear and concise, and remember, it is limited to 4,000 characters.

Letter of Recommendation (LOR)

Submit a letter of recommendation from an academic teacher or school counselor.

Essays

You need to submit an admission essay (personal statement). This is a required part of the SUNY Supplemental Application or the Common Application. You can use the SUNY International Applicant Essay form and choose any topic for your autobiographical essay.
